At the top of our list is the Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade! After a two-year hiatus, parade planners have been hard at work and are ready to bring cheer and holiday spirit back to Downtown Peterborough! This year's theme is "Christmas Around the World". The anticipation for Santa's arrival starts at 4:45pm on Saturday, December 3. The parade starts at City Hall and will run along George Street finishing up at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

What better way to get the kids into the Christmas spirit than a workshop where they learn to create their own wrapping paper? The Peterborough Public Library is hosting this fun event on December 16th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. There are two age groups (5-8 & 9-12) that can participate, and all the items to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece will be provided by the library – the kids just need to bring their creativity and spirit!

Open to the public and only $5 per skater this is the perfect activity to burn off the sugar rush from all the Christmas baking!
